Snow day song

Hi everyone.  Schools all around middle Tennessee are closed today due to the snowy weather.  With more snow in the forecast for Friday, I thought it might be fun to give you a creative song to try with your preschoolers that embodies the snow theme.  We tried this song last week with my preschool music groups and it was a huge hit!   Give your preschooler either white pom poms to mimic snow or scarves.  This works on pretend play, motor skills, and of course snow education.  I hope you are able to try it out this week!

I’m a little snowflake, cold and round.

Falling softly to the ground (drop scarf continually to the ground to mimic snow falling)

When enough of me falls hear me shout (start forming ball with scarf)

“Here’s a snowball, better watch out” (gently throw the “snowball”)
