Who we are
Musical Bridges was founded in June 2005 with the vision of providing quality Music Therapy services to individuals with disabilities in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area. After 18 years in private practice, we formed a nonprofit in order to make Music Therapy accessible for all. While we’ve grown over the years, our mission to respect and serve our community and clientele has remained unwavering.
How we help
We take a humanistic, client-centered approach to therapy and partner with clients to reach their full potential. We stay up to date with the latest research to incorporate the best practices and techniques possible, including additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy. Our therapists have over 25 years of combined experience.
Who we help
We serve a wide variety of populations from infancy to the elderly, specializing in the treatment of autism, intellectual disabilities, and speech challenges. We serve private clients in our clinic in Brentwood, their homes, schools, day programs, nursing homes, therapy centers, and more. We also contract with facilities in the greater Nashville community.
Our profession
Music therapy is an established and allied health profession recognized globally. All of our therapists are board-certified from the Certification Board of Music Therapists and must complete ongoing continuing education. They are active members of the American Music Therapy Association.
