Happy 2014!

I was able to travel to Hawaii and Chicago which have both been dreams of mine. In Hawaii I saw majestic mountains and gorgeous ocean views. I knocked several things off my “bucket list,” including paddle boarding in the ocean and backpacking in another national park. In Chicago, I ate every kind of Chicago style pizza there is (literally almost every meal!) and got to explore the vibrant downtown life. There was even a jazz and blues music festival going on! But most significantly, I got married which is one of the most remarkable events anyone can have in a lifetime. I am blessed to have married such an inspirational and supportive man.

In business, I started contracts in several different cities and love traveling each week to them. I’ve listened to countless podcasts on the drives which help inspire me grow and mature. Also, I now teach drum lessons which I never knew was even a possibility for me!

I thank all of you for allowing me to serve you and share my life via this blog. I am grateful for your kind words and encouragement. This year I challenge myself to be more aware of people’s needs, to step out and do something out of my comfort zone, to be the change I want to see in the world, and strive for progress not perfection.

What are your New Year’s resolutions and goals?
