Superheroes

While picking up children for their music enrichment class at preschool last week I discovered that one of the girls I’ve taught for 4 years chose MUSIC to be her superpower.  Her teacher came up to me and wanted to show me some artwork the class had been working on for an upcoming art show.  The picture below is a segment of a large project where each student colored a superhero body, pasted their face on it, and wrote what superhero power they would want if they could choose anything in the world.  The teacher was impressed that my student chose music and told me I must be making quite the impact on her.  I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the artwork!
